The city of New Bedford has asked Mercy Meals and More (634 Purchase Street) to be ready to open Thursday, March 7th, 2013, as a temporary emergency shelter. They will need volunteers to handle different shifts and donations. They need both men and women with at least one female sponsor for 6 to 11 p.m. Any takers to volunteer?
