On Tuesday, April 16th, 2015, Fairhaven detectives were conducting an investigation into housebreaks in their town. During surveillance of a Black Nissan Altima, they followed the suspects to the far south end of New Bedford and notified our NBPD’s detective division.

One of the suspects  was later found running out of a yard on Seymour St. near Brock Ave. and into the Black Altima. He was carrying a large screen television set. It was later determined that he had kicked in a rear door of an unoccupied home and stole the television and jar of change. The second suspect was found lying in the reclined driver’s seat just as the burglary was taking place. Both will be arraigned this morning in New Bedford District court on Breaking and Entering, as well as, larceny charges.
