Cape Cod Task Force makes Heroin Trafficking Arrests

On Friday February 12, 2016, members of the Massachusetts State Police Cape Cod Task Force, Harwich Police Department and Yarmouth Police Department executed a State Search Warrant on Queen Anne Road in Harwich, Ma. The Search warrant was issued as a result of an on-going narcotics investigation into the distribution of heroin from the property.

The Search Warrant resulted in the seizure of approximately 180 grams of Heroin and $2150.00 in US Currency. The residents of the property, Kenneth Dauphinais, age 55, and Meghan Devito, age 23, were both placed under arrest for Trafficking of Heroin (100-200 grams) and Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws. Jesse Dauphinais, age 29, of Canton, Ma, was additionally placed under arrest as a result of a motor vehicle stop connected to the investigation. Jesse Dauphinais was charged with Trafficking of Heroin (100-200 grams) and Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws.

All three subjects were booked and processed at the Harwich Police Department and subsequently held without bail pending arraignment in Orleans District Court.

Jesse Dauphinais was additionally held on a Probation Warrant issued from the Norfolk Superior Court for prior charges of Home Invasion, Armed Burglary and Assault and Possession of a Firearm.
