Short Film Festival to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project (7:00pm)
The first ever Fairhaven Short Film Festival, an evening of internationally renowned, award-winning short films. The screening takes place at Fairhaven Town Hall with the first film blasting on to the screen at 7:00pm. Proceeds will go to The Wounded Warriors Project. Mina Greene, weekend news anchor for WBZ News radio 1030AM, will serve as master of ceremonies.
Comedy Show at the United Fisherman’s Club (7:00pm-Midnight)
Laughter is good for the soul and the youth at Dartmouth High School want you to laugh your socks off at the DHS After-Prom event: Comedy Hall of Fame at the United Fisherman’s Club. The Rhode Island Comedy Hall of Fame event will feature some of New England’s best comedians and you’ll laugh all night long. ALL parents are welcome and encouraged to attend (especially if your student is not a senior). See poster for more detail.

The Sons of Serendip is a musical group of four friends, who through a series of serendipitous events, came together from Boston University. The instrumental and vocal quartet placed fourth on the ninth season of America’s Got Talent and are now coming to perform at BMC Durfee High Schools Nagle Auditorium. This show is a fundraiser for the Durfee Parents Advisory Council in conjunction with Student Government. Proceeds will be going to benefit the After Prom event.
